This time round Michael B. Jordan is in the director's chair, as well as returning as our protagonist Adonis Creed, making an impressive directorial debut.
Whilst promoting the film, Jordan has been very open about his plans for a sequel, confirming that a fourth movie is happening, replying to IGN's question with the comment "for sure".
The star teased that possible spin-offs could also happen, adding that we should "definitely expect other things around Creed".
It's something that has got actor Tessa Thompson excited, who reprises her role as Adonis' wife Bianca, telling Zavvi that she is totally up for Creed 4.
Thompson also revealed that she has an idea of where Bianca's story could go next: "I love playing this role and reuniting with Mike – it really does feel like we have become family and that’s not just Mike and I, so many of our crew return for these films. I’d love to be reunited with them at anytime.
"In regards to Bianca, I’m curious to see what happens. I think for her, contending with building a business and being a businesswoman, I’d love to look at the recording industry, delve further into that world, the complications and challenges there.
"But I think it’s limitless and I’m curious to see where it continues."
So, keep your eyes peeled.
