Last year the inaugural DC FanDome event blew audiences away being a convention like none other, delivering exclusive previews, first looks and much more to fans worldwide who could enjoy the experience from the comfort of their own homes – for free!

As with all sequels, this year’s event is aiming to be even bigger and better, taking place online on 16th October with a line-up to impress. Here’s what to expect.

Film

Warner Bros. Pictures

DC have some really exciting films in the pipeline which they will be previewing at the event, arguably the most highly anticipated part of the experience.

Last year fans were shook by the awesome first trailer for Matt Reeves’ The Batman, which stars Robert Pattinson as the caped crusader. The bar has been set high then, but we are sure they will deliver once again with the second teaser.

We will also be treated to a first look at Black Adam, the upcoming superhero epic starring none other than The Rock, and a sneak peek at The Flash – here’s hoping that features a glimpse at Michael Keaton’s return as Batman.

Warner Bros. Pictures

The event also promises behind the scenes looks at sequels Aquaman And The Lost Kingdom and Shazam! Fury Of The Gods, as well as new footage from animated adventure DC League Of Super-Pets.

And that’s not all, as DC Animated Films will present two of their upcoming original titles, heist movie Catwoman: Hunted and Injustice, a new movie inspired by the popular games and comics.

Television

The CW

Things are just as exciting on the small screen with Warner Bros. Television offering first looks at the new seasons of hit shows Batwoman, The Flash, Superman And Lois, and Sweet Tooth.

With the beloved show Supergirl approaching its conclusion after six seasons, the event will also treat fans to a special farewell tribute – get those tissues ready!

Given how ridiculously outlandish James Gunn’s The Suicide Squad was, we are even more excited for spin-off show Peacemaker, which follows the adventures of John Cena’s merciless killer who believes in peace at any cost.

Warner Bros.

DC FanDome will unveil an exclusive look at the upcoming series which is set to debut early next year.

There’s also good news for #HarIvy fans as a sneak peek at season three of animated comedy Harley Quinn will show what is in store for the pair.

Gaming

WB Games Montréal

Two of the most exciting games on next year’s calendar will also be showcased at DC FanDome, news that will delight gamers worldwide.

From Warner Bros. Games Montréal we will get a new look at Gotham Knights, the open-world RPG that assembles heroes Nightwing, Batgirl, Robin and Red Hood following Batman’s death.

Meanwhile Rocksteady Studios will deliver reveals for Suicide Squad: Kill The Justice League, an action-adventure shooter that lets you play as Harley Quinn, Deadshot, Captain Boomerang and King Shark during their attempts to defeat the villainous Brainiac, who has invaded Earth and brainwashed The Justice League.

Comics

DC Comics

Last but certainly not least, DC FanDome will also preview several upcoming comic books including the new six-issue Black Manta series and the next instalment in the universe spanning Batman/Fortnite crossover.

The spotlight though will be on none other than the warrior of truth and justice herself Wonder Woman, with this year’s event honouring her legacy with a special showcase.

Fans will be treated to a look at three upcoming comic books which will explore the iconic character: Nubia And The Amazons, Wonder Woman Historia and Wonderful Women Of The World.
