Keep the childhood alive
How can you not love this film. I still remember every scene even though it has been years since I watched it. I only buy memorable films now due to prevalence of streaming, but to have a steelbook reminder of why I love films is always great to look at on the shelf. This one is no exception and helps remind me why I became a collector. Great service from Zavvi who keep people informed of releases (even during a pandemic) and have lovely exclusives for people to come back for.

Good looking steelbook
This is a great looking steelbook with vibrant colours. So why have I only given it 4 stars, then? Well, it would have to go some to beat the original blu-ray steelbook for this title, which was an absolute classic.

Censored or Uncensored 4K
I give the Film itself 5 stars because I had great memories watching it on an original VHS (before losing it in a house move) with my Dad before he died. I just have a question about this 4K version. Is it the censored version like you would get on Disney+ or the Uncensored original version from the Cinema and original VHS print?

PG rate over 6...
Again, the movie is rated PG 6. I believe with this age we refer to kids right? Maybe not in the family of one of the reviewers here, but it is indeed a family movie. Provocative, disturbing, etc, really?? Come on, kids playing dead auto, and shooting games are in the top sells in gaming consoles. Do you think is only the adults playing? Wrong! "Who Framed Roger Rabbit" has some violence, and light abuse language, but we see it in current Disney kids movies as well. And yes, I've watched the movie more than once and is brilliant. Any kids can watch, maybe not those playing dead shooting playstation games, like 99% of the kids nowadays. Sensitive for some things, others don't, funny hey!

NOT a "family Disney film" ...
This is an OK steelbook but better than the standard release. To those erroneously claiming that 'Who Framed Roger Rabbit' was released as a family film; it was not. Disney considered it too sexualised to release under the Disney label so shunted it to their adult brand called Touchstone as an adult release; it's NOT and never was a children's film! This release is branded Disney but the film in cinemas was not and neither were most previous home media releases. Jessica Rabbit is a deliberately provocative femme-fatale with an overblown look that has become a by-word for extreme feminity and again NOT a children's cartoon character! Her look is very distinctive and the first reviewer is absolutely correct that the cover of this steelbook does not reflect it. I suspect that the 2 subsequent reviewers have not actually SEEN the film because otherwise their prudish comments make zero sense!

Happy to see this one
As the 2nd reviewer says, this is a family/kids movies. Why do you want to see the cover with a more provoking look? Bust, why? Is not the most stunning artwork, I agree with that. Could have been better? Yes, of course, but is still nice, and I love the inside artwork. To the 1st reviewer "fan art?", if you don't like the artwork, and you were just looking for a UHD copy, why a steel book, and not a normal plastic case?
