Is Hong Kong Cinema still Alive?

Judging by this film, very much so. It is an adrenaline fuelled shot to the arm. Very exciting with some dazzling martial arts and action packed fight scenes. The film is also beautifully shot with some stunning production design. Both of which are shown to their max with this gorgeous 4k image. The edition itself is very nice. With a lovely slipcase, reversible artwork and book. All in all, a very classy affair and if you're an action fan, a film very much worth your time. Oh and to top it all, we have the legendary Sammo Hung in bad guy mode. Nuff said!

Hong Kong films still have it

As a big fan of Hong Kong cinema, it has sometimes lost its way in recent years apart from the odd gem. However, this film proves that’s Hong Kong cinema still has got it and when produced well it can live forever. This film respects past kung fun films but also embraces the future of this genre.
