Exclusive Art by Matt Ferguson
The year is 2005 ... For millennia, the heroic Autobots, led by Optimus Prime (Peter Cullen), have been at war with the evil Megatron (Frank Welker) and his Decepticons over control of their home planet of Cybertron. However, an even greater threat - Unicron (Orson Welles, Citizen Kane), a colossal converting planet that devours everything in its path - is heading right for Cybertron. The only hope is the Autobot Matrix of Leadership. Will the Autobots be able to save themselves and their home world in time?
An all-star cast, including Judd Nelson (The Breakfast Club), Leonard Nimoy (Star Trek), Eric Idle (the Monty Python films) and Robert Stack (The Untouchables), brings this inimitable, explosively entertaining Autobot adventure to life.

Best version yet!!
Having bought this childhood favourite numerous times I can say this is the best version to date. Lovely packaging but more importantly an improvement in the audio/visual quality. It's never looked or sounded better.

The ultimate edition of the ultimate movie!!!
Wow, when this came up on zavvi.... I just had to have it, i love the animated movie so to now own it on 4k among the other editions i own completes the set nicely, i love the the 4k is widescreen and the blu ray included is the full screen edition so to have both aspect ratios is amazing, the sound is also truly spectacular as a soundtrack like this truly deserves, as to me as a kid this was the best thing i had ever seen or heard and now its better than ever.... You owe it to yourself to buy this completly definitive edition of a real 80s masterpiece of celluloid..... Till all are one!!!!!!!
