Beautiful
Since i started collecting steelbooks in 2009, the color purple was very high on my want list.. i thought it would never happen, i was so happy when u saw it come up for pre order. I put my bar low on Steel quality (matte, and poor quality image)so i wouldn't be disappointed.. i just opened it and it's gloss and beautiful, front, back and inside art are great. The steelbook is flat, no debossing or embossing (miss the old school border and embossed title.. which we still occasionally get - Hannibal for example).. however, i am really pleased with the artwork and finish.. also the 4k disc is purple, at first i thought it was a plain black..as we sometimes get on 4k disc's, but it's purple, and a nice touch. Me and my sister watched it a lot when we were kids, and we always cried. Sorry i can not comment on the disc's PQ etc as I've got a 4k player but no 4k tv.. Time to upgrade

The colour purple
Probably one film I’ve always wanted in Steelbook for collectors edition other than The black Stallion such stunning piece of cinematic work completely had to have. The final scenes always has me in tears …. I thought I’d wished it ended with her sister taking her to Africa and her children ... it Just makes me cry every time… will certainly look forward to seeing it again.Â
