4K is the Best It's Ever Been, Blu Ray Not So Much!
If you are getting this for the very nice steelbook (I get it that it's a matter of taste and for some the mileage may vary) and the 4K transfer than this is the right place; the 1080p transfer however is lacking and barely rises above DVD quality on many frames. Overall a bit of a mixed bag.

Arrived in Good Condition
One of my favourite Star Trek movies now comes in much improved Bluray and 4k; I have the dvd as well and the quality improvement is blatantly obvious. I really like the packaging Zavvi used to protect these steelbooks which came to me in great condition; in the past it used to be hit and miss with misses all too frequent in the form of dented and even destroyed cases. Thankfully this is not the case here (no pun intended) as the packaging was up to the task of protecting the product. Happy with my purchase. Now I hope to see the same treatment done for Director's Cuts for Star Trek 1, 2, and 6.

Best its ever Been!
There are improvements in the layers of sound and in the Definition of certain parts of the film.. Its honestly never looked or sounded as good as this. And that's coming from someone who has seen this film about 35 times. Also the plastic wallet is embossed with a Constitution class and Bird of Prey Vessel.. Wish you could get all the films like this one !

Disappointed
Love the back and inside artwork, but that front cover that Kinda looks like Spock's face? Nah doesn't look great 👎
