Sonic the Hedgehog
The world needed a hero, we got a hedgehog. Powered with incredible speed, Sonic the Hedgehog, aka The Blue Blur, embraces his new home on Earth. That is, until he accidentally knocks out the power grid and sparks the attention of super-uncool evil genius Dr. Robotnik (Jim Carrey).
Now it's super-villain vs. super-sonic in an all-out race across the globe to stop Robotnik from using Sonic's power for world domination. Sonic teams up with The Donut Lord, aka Sheriff Tom Wachowski (James Marsden), to save the planet in this action-packed adventure that's fun for the whole family.

The world's favourite blue hedgehog is back for the next adventure in Sonic the Hedgehog 2. After settling in Green Hills, Sonic is eager to prove he has what it takes to be a true hero. His test comes when Dr. Robotnik returns, this time with a new partner, Knuckles, in search of an emerald that has the power to destroy civilisations.
Sonic teams up with his own sidekick, Tails, and together they embark on a globetrotting journey to find the emerald before it falls into the wrong hands.

Missed out on buying the first movie on steelbook so jumped at the chance to get 1 & 2 in a pack - great looking steels and fun films!

Good... but not as the pictures
Nice looking set and great value seeing as Sonic 1 is selling for more than this 2nd hand. Only 4 stars thou as Sonic 2 does not come with the slip case as shown in the 2nd image. This means it loses some of its reference to the Megadrive packaging. Additional Sonic 2 arrived with a scratch on the steelbook - but Zavvi quick to offer a discount for this so fair play to them for doing so.

More money for me to spend
Literally bought the sonic 2 steelbook just a couple months back but could not pass up on this. Needed the 1st one for my collection and this is a lot cheaper for both than trying to buy the 1st one stand alone. Pre ordered and ready to run with sonic
