Bad movie, with very good presentation

Red Sonja remains a bad movie, with bad writing, shallow characters, and poor dialog. But, it remains a guilty pleasure within the genre, and this new 4K restoration, vastly improves over previous home video releases, with a lot of details, fine film grain, and vibrant colors. There are only a few bonus features included, but overall, this is a great-looking steelbook and worthy addition for all fans of the genre.

This steelbook is incredible, the artwork is very stunning indeed, it’s done a 80’s cult classic real justice. The new 4K remaster is fantastic, amazing picture detail and the colours really pop, it’s the best the film has ever looked. And for the first time ever “Red Sonja” comes with extra features, very good ones too. At last I can now replace my old plain DVD copy, with this truly excellent edition of this fantastic film. Thanks so much Zavvi for another first class steelbook.
