One of Scorsese's finest

Everything about this film is expertly executed. Scorsese's direction and black-and-white cinematography is bang on point, as is Schoonmaker-Powell's editing. All the main cast and the supporting actors are exceptional, with Pesci a standout along with DeNiro. Criterion has done a slap-up job of presenting this film in 4k and it's a clear improvement on previous scans. Highly recommended!

The best

De Niro and Scorsese’s best in my opinion.

Great 4k

I won't review the movieas I can't imagine there are many out there who have not seen it. The transfer is a definite improvement over previous releases, the B&W photography looks amazing with great contrast. Overall a definite recommendation.
