Monkey brains scene is offal!

Great looking original poster art steelbook. Art cards or booklet would've been preferred to the actual poster included. The last great Indy film. Bring back Willie & Short Round!

Indiana Jones & The Temple Of Doom - Steelbok-style.

'Indiana Jones & the Temple Of Doom' is the second installment of Stephen Spielberg's 'Indiana Jones' series, which continues in the raucous, colourful, fast-paced action style of its predecessor, 'Raiders Of The Lost Ark'.The T.O.D story actually pre-dates 'Raiders' and concerns Indiana's quest to recover a precious artifact along with the liberation of a group of enslaved chidren. This movie is darker than Raiders, with incredible stunts and crazy action sequences.Indy is supported in his endeavours by ditzy blonde nightclub singer Willie Smith (Kate Capshaw) and the scene-stealing 'Short Round' (Key Huy Quan) in an adventure that begins in a decadent Chinese nightclub and progresses through the trecherous Himalayas to exotic India and a fortress-like mine, which is home to some terrifying villains and which provides the edge-of-your-seat, nail-biting scenes of the movie's climax. In 1984 (when this movie was first-released in cinemas) its PG-13 rateing was created specifically for children who were being scared witless by the movie's villains and violent scenes; that said, it's still a "jolly-japes old- boy" adventure in the best 'Boys-Own' tradition and great family entertainment. The 4K UHD Steelbook provides a stunning transfer with excellent visuals and sound and is the best this movie has ever looked (IMO).The steelbook cover artwork and design layout are great and the fact that this is just one of a special Indiana Jones steelbook series makes it very desirable, collectable and cool at the same time. The cool may be Retro, but it's still cool! Highly Recommended.

Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom

If only the film was as good as the steelbook. Much better than the recent '4 movie' collection artwork. Hope this is continued with the last (5th) film when it's released.

Can't beat that original poster art!

I wasn't really a fan of the white box set version so I was really happy that this got a standalone release with the original poster art. I've already pre-ordered the other Indiana Jones films to complete the set. I just wish more classics films got a steel book release with the original poster art.

Idianna as it should be

Great steel book in the Indiana series. Wasn't a fan of the artwork on the first steel book but this it how it should have looked originally. Great package all round and the mini poster was an unexpected bonus. Highly recommended and great service from Zavvi as usual.

Great Steelbook….eventually!!

As others I have suggested, the first Indiana Jones 4K Steelbook set with the white backgrounds was a huge disappointment. This, the previous, and the upcoming releases do make up for that set but I imagine that there are some like myself who have bought twice feeling a bit short changed.

Dark Steelbook otherwise Great

Great Steelbook using original artwork, however the artwork is much darker colour toned than the Raiders of the Lost Ark Steelbook. Harrison Ford's face on the front of the steelbook has a much redder hue to it. Not sure if this was just my steelbook at fault but I was disappointed as the images of the steeelbook are much lighter. Other than that great Indiana Jones film we all love in in 4k
