From Dario Argento, maestro of the macabre and the man behind some of the greatest excursions in Italian horror (Suspiria, The Bird with the Crystal Plumage), comes Deep Red - the ultimate giallo movie.
One night, musician Marcus Daly (David Hemmings, Blow Up), looking up from the street below, witnesses the brutal axe murder of a woman in her apartment. Racing to the scene, Marcus just manages to miss the perpetrator... or does he? As he takes on the role of amateur sleuth, Marcus finds himself ensnared in a bizarre web of murder and mystery where nothing is what it seems...
Aided by a throbbing score from regular Argento collaborators Goblin, Deep Red (aka Profondo Rosso and The Hatchet Murders) is a hallucinatory fever dream of a giallo punctuated by some of the most astonishing set-pieces the sub-genre has to offer.

Deep style
What can I say, another gorgeous boxset that matches the other Argento limited editions, as well as Arrows other cool titles. Cards, poster, reversable sleeve, 2 film cuts, commentaries and more extras than you can shake a stick at! Oh, and a superb 4k transfer! You could not want more! Impeccable.

Deep Red 4k limited edition
One of Argentos greatest films. Top notch picture quality. The mono track is one of the best I've ever heard. Tons of special features. You get a bonus disc with the boxset containing more extras and another version of the film. Arrow always do a great job . A must own for any fan.

Argento's best in 4K
I had all Argento's releases from Arrow, and I always thought that the transfers and Blu-Ray quality were excellent. And yet, Arrow has created these new UltraHD transfers that look stunning, and all Arrow Argento 4K upgrades are well worth the price. The movie comes in a great-looking box containing a book and a poster, the new art used is really nice, and the poster and movie case contains original art as well. And, you get not one, but two UltraHD discs with two versions of the movie, and a lot (and that's really a lot, hours and hours) of extras. There are no Blu-Ray discs in this set, only UltraHD, and I for one appreciate that, with UltraHD available, I will not need to watch the Blu-Ray anymore.

Deep Joy
Probably the best of the Argento 4K transfers and both versions have been given the same treatment. It’s also a really good film. Haven’t watched all of the Export version yet but a quick chapter skip showed the same picture quality. Really good extras and the presentation is as brilliant as ever from Arrow. Looking forward to further Argento releases.

Once again a fantastic release from Arrow. I think this is probably the best Argento transfer I’ve seen, along with Suspiria. The artwork is great and definitely worth getting before they sellout 💯💯💯💯
