Apollo 11
Zavvi's listing says "Number of Discs: 1," but - as stated on the cover art - both 4K and 1080p Blu-Ray discs are included in this release. I watched the whole of the 4K and some of the Blu-Ray for comparison - I'm a bit torn on this as the 4K (with HDR) is definitely more eye-popping, but I felt that maybe the Blu-Ray more closely captures the period feel of the sixties photography. The newly discovered 65mm footage all seems to have been filmed on Earth, but it is spectacular. I might be wrong, but I think only 16mm cine cameras were carried on the spacecraft, so the resolution of these scenes is not so good. Some of Armstrong and Aldrin's moonwalk is represented by the large format still photographs they took. How much you enjoy this film might depend on your expectations of it - I think I need to watch it again to fully appreciate it. Definitely a worthwhile purchase, though.

Stunning
I had the pleasure of seeing this on the big screen on release last year and this is the nearest you will get to that experience, astonishing transfer and reproduction with sound to match. An all-round incredible experience and a worthy addition to any new 4K home collection.

Must have historical event
If you believe... they put a man on the moon, you should have this crisp movie with before never seen images of the first moon landing . Although I have few movies on the subject this one beats them all. So for yourself or your kids as part of a history lesson, remember it will take another 10 years before the can even go back , imagine ..... The price in comparison with amazon is incredible . So hurry up this is getting a rare movie
