Nintendo will launch Nintendo 3DS XL, a new version of Nintendo 3DS with 90 % larger screens. The new system will create even more immersive entertainment experiences for users, delivering a wealth of games and video content that can be enjoyed on the go.
The new system’s battery life outperforms that of the original Nintendo 3DS, and it comes bundled with a 4 GB SD card.
Even with the addition of the bigger screen, Nintendo’s aim was to still make the system available at a reasonable purchase price. Because of this, and because so many fans already own a previous handheld, an AC adapter will not be included.
What is the 3DS?
The rumours had been round for ages, but that didn’t stop everyone’s jaws dropping the moment Nintendo officially unveiled the 3D follow-up to its DS handheld. Especially as it doesn’t require cumbersome 3D glasses to enjoy its startling effects, and even offers 3D picture-taking and movie-watching!
Featuring the traditional dual-screen, the top 3.5-inch gaming display is designed to produced crisp 3D images, while the bottom 3D-less display works as the touch panel. The sleek little machine also promises improved graphics capabilities over previous DS models, as well as incorporating new motion-sensor controls, which Nintendo is confident will lead to “interesting new gaming ideas from developers”.

Love It!!!
Love my new Nintendo 3ds XL. The Graphics for a handheld console are fantastic, the screen is a lot better compared to the nintendo ds lite (my previous console) and the selection of games available will suit everyone in your home. The new feature streetpass is fabulous, I am a geek and take my console absolutely everywhere so that I can count my daily steps and earn extra puzzle pieces!! I only wish that I upgraded to the 3ds XL sooner.
