Introduced in the first movie (directed by Steven Spielberg), this world-famous survivor of the prehistoric age makes his presence known after the titular park's security systems are sabotaged.
Each step enough to make the ground shake, the hungry predator sets his sights on the unlucky visitors and successfully manages to devour one of them, Donald Gennaro (Martin Ferrero). Regrettably, audiences witness only a minute sample of the T-rex's predatory capability, as the remainder of its quarry escapes. It's a good thing that future encounters are in the pipeline.
Over the course of several instalments, the short-armed dinosaur returns, clashing with both humans and those of its own kind. Nobody would dare imply that the T-rex isn't one of the most fearsome creatures to walk the Earth, but this fact alone does not mean that it doesn't have competition.
Yes, even the mighty can fall, and fall it does between the elongated teeth of a Spinosaurus, an imposing carnivore of stature akin to its humbled opponent. This jaw-dropping event occurs in the third movie, but redemption comes shortly after, the T-rex defeating a genetically engineered dinosaur known as the Indominus rex.
