Joe Marino is a young Italian-American documentary director, eager into investigations of unspoken subjects. Intrigued by the increasing number of movies about possession and demons, but also looking for the scoop of his career, he decides to travel over to Italy, to investigate about devil's existence.
Armed with only his handycam with which he's going to record his personal diary, he flies over the Ocean, to Rome, reaching an Italian crew.
Strongly skeptical, his only mission is to unmask the world of charlatans and cheaters, which mostly for money issues deceive simple and ingenious believers with scary stories about demons. His reportage will show the reality, the way it is, without any cuts or any sorts of censorship. It will reveal the 'inexistence' of Evil.
The small Italian crew, five young people, soon will begin Joe's traveling companion who will accompany him in a winding itinerary full of grey zones getting darker and darker as the journey continues; where the truth is hidden among unmentionable and disquieting secret stories of people's disappearance and sacrificial victims. Soon the skeptical reporter will find himself to face the evidence of supernatural phenomenon and dreadful visions which will bring him into the obscure and scary dimension of devil possessions, and Evil's representations.
His doubtful curiosity will drag him to a point of no return and makes him pay the highest price to get to the truth.
