Frozen is an extremely dramatic and terrifyingly realistic thriller from director Adam Green, about three friends who must fight for their life when a skiing trip goes terribly wrong. Lifelong friends Joe and Dan are on their annual skiing trip along with Dan’s girlfriend Parker. When the three realise they haven’t paid enough money to ride on the chairlift, Parker bribes the attendant with 100 dollars to let them ride. When the attendant forgets the trio are on the chairlift, he shuts it down and goes home. This appears to be more than a mistake that can be easily fixed when it becomes clear that everyone has gone home and the resort will not be open for another five days. Being 100 feet in the air with no with no way down in the blistering cold they soon realise that it’s not just hypothermia they have to worry about! A disturbing tale of an intense fight for survival, not to be missed. (Matt Fairfield)

Unexpected
I found this movie enjoyable, for this genre. The movie takes a few unexpected turns, while the viewer waits in anticipation to see if things will turn out for the good....or the bad of the actors. There were times when I was on the edge of my seat waiting to see what was going to happen next, but also a few slower moments, which is why I rated 4 stars.

This will definitely unfreeze your nerves...,
This is an uneasy watch and quite good. Three teens get stuck on a ski-lift, high up in the air, in a ski park that is closed for the week. They then have to survive or try and escape the terrible situation. I can't say any more as it would spoil the surprises. The acting, from unknowns, is convincing and does the job well and there are some truly tense and sickening bits in this. It is quite long, drawn out and sometimes predictable, if not far fetched to insert some action, but it is still a recommendable watch. The setting is great and the overly loud sounds and soundtrack help define this as more of an entertaining watch, than a serious one, even if it is believable at a charitable stretch (if seen as summarised events).

Terrifying experience
Frozen's atmospheric setting really creates a terrifying experience that add to the tense and mesmerizing scenes that will literally leave you at the edge of your seat. The slick build up to the very moment the ski lift chair stops is exciting, there are some funny moments that keep the pace going, and the actors certainly give it their all in this ice cold thriller. The chilling soundtrack amounts to the tension making nail biting terror throughout the 93 minutes, overall Frozen is unmissable and a fantastic viewing experience that is like no other!
