The Bluray That Pierces The Heavens
Gurren Lagann is one of the greatest anime TV shows of all time and this bluray just enhances the experience. With both Japanese and English audio tracks, in beautiful Dolby 2.0 and TrueDolby 5.1 respectively, makes this TV series accessible to veteran otaku and newcomers alike. This bluray collection sports the standard 1080p resolution, creating a magnificent, clear picture. I love this TV show for its themes about family, love, hope, destiny and taking control of your future. With some coarse language, sexual references and graphic violence, this isn't a show for those under 15. But if you love feeling raw sad emotion and elated epic highs, this is the show for you.

Awesome Anime
One of the greatest anime of the last few years, the blu ray version makes it look better than ever. Highly recommended for anyone who wants a powerfull story with no down time in the story, attaching characters and mechas that redefine the term awesome.

A Great Anime Release
Having watched many anime titles over years I can say this is a must. Gurren Lagann has everything. Action, tradegy, romance, a great storyline and of course, Comedy. The comedy is slapstick and outrageous just as you would expect from the Japanese and this isn't lost in the dubbed version. The blu-ray benefits from both original Japanese audio with subtitles and American audio. Pick your preference. Sure, if you're a die hard anime fan then you can pick fault if you try but it hasn't stopped this anime being rated highly across multiple anime sites. When I saw that a blu-ray version was available I knew it was a no brainer. The picture is great which helps absorb you in the action. For anyone considering this release I can only say go for it!

Gurren Lagann
As a nostalgic anime fan, I'd written off modern anime under cliches, bland designs and uninteresting stories. Then I watched Gurren Lagann. Playing out as a parody of the multiple mech genres, it has several intriguing characters that leap off the screen instantly. Furthermore, the animation is stylised to give it some pop. Another aspect that works in it's favour is PACE. While the likes of Attack on Titan became a chore to get through in parts, Gurren breezes along making it a joy to watch. I would MORE than recommend!
