The toys are back in town and at last they've got a video game to equal the brilliance of the movies. You can relieve the story from the new film if you want, but there's much more to this game than the usual film tie-in.
The best bit of this game is the exclusive Toy Box mode, where you can play as Woody, Buzz or Jessie in the role of Sheriff in a toyland town. This mode uses all the same characters from the films but gives you complete freedom to play with all of them however you want - from exciting car (or horse and dragon) races to catching ghosts.
One special element of the Toy Box is magic goo that can change the size of any of the characters, which together with all the other collectable objects lets you completely customise the town, and the world of Toy Story, however you want.

Good game
Toy Story 3 is funny. It includes toy box mode, in which you can create your own toy city, and the story mode. The problem is that the story mode is really short, only 8 levels, and in the xbox version you cannot use Zurg. But Buzz's levels are amazing, you can play the original buzz' videogame from the movie!

I bought this game for my 6 year old daughter and she loves it. It was easy enough for her to get the hang of it but not too easy that she gets bored. The graphics are excellent. If you or your kids love the film, you'll surely love Toy Story 3 the game!

Brilliant!
I bought Toy Story 3 for my 10 yr old son for his birthday and he hasn't stopped playing it. The graphics are fantastic and look almost 3D. There is so much to do in this game and would be great for much older kids or even adults. A great buy at a bargain price.

A bundle of gaming fun and joy
The toys are back! It is quite rare these days to find a game like this where every moment of it is pure bliss and an experience the whole family can enjoy. This game has everything you would want from a family game: well crafted story levels, reliving the train rescue, bonnie the witch level and a few extras...including a buzz light year video game level. The graphics are great for a game like this and are easy on the eye. Coop via split-screen means you can double the fun and share the experience However what sold the game to me were two things: 1) Toy box mode aka Woody's round-up. This allows you to become a sheriff in the wild wild west, customizing your town and inhabitants as you see fit, completing a vast range of missions and side missions, rounding up bandits, racing in the stunt park, visiting environments like zuorgs space port, the haunted house, and lush garden home to a rather cute dragon...and so much more. 2) Seeing my young brothers face lit up when he plays this game, giggling with glee. Seeing pure joy on a kids face is just priceless. Why should you get this game? This is why: It's outstanding and a great yet rare treat for the WHOLE family to experience together that is very well executed. While the story mode may not last long, there is plenty of re-playability and hours upon hours of fun to be had, along with spending quality time with your loved ones.
