The Witcher 2 Assassins of Kings Enhanced Edition
First of all, The Witcher 2 Assassins of Kings Enhanced Edition is a good game. It's beautiful and the world is detailed. But all of this is ruined by the terrible controls. This is in the between land of a tactical turn based RPG and an action RPG. But while Dark Souls gives you fluid controls and movement, Witcher 2 stops you regularly to either block/parry, and the controls never feel natural while playing. This becomes a serious problem when you fight several opponents at once. Not to mention that too much is left to guess work. Since you have to use potions and other preparations before fights, most often you jump into the boss, die and then run back and use potions etc. Other than that, the world is beautiful, the story is interesting and you can invest heavily with time in this.

Bloodlettingly Brilliant!!
You'll be hooked right from the brutal opening scene of this fantastic RPG, The Witcher 2 Assassins of Kings Enhanced Edition. There are a lot of aspects to get your head around developing your character but the tutorial will guide you through the basics and you'll soon find that they become second nature to you. This is a huge and multi-layered game which will grab you and won't let go. Prepare to lose a lot of your spare time and immerse yourself in the world of Geralt of Rivia. Enjoy.

Amazing game
If you like complex role action games, The Witcher 2 Assassins of Kings Enhanced Edition is your best choice! It's a serious and adult game, with an interesting plot and many different ways to finish it. I can only recommend the purchase.

Witcher 2
Unfortunately I can not join the endless cheering for The Witcher 2 Assassins of Kings Enhanced Edition. My expectations were high, but only met for the amazing story and the atmosphere. The game play though is only average if not worse. The difficulty levels vary too much from start to end, the inventory system is clumsy and the map/quest marker system is one of the worst I have ever experienced in the many RPGs I have played. But as said before, the story is excellent and presented in a great way, that's why I finished the game. If the game play would have been more rewarding I would have rated it higher. I recommend to play it for an hour before believing the hype.

An engaging, immersive adventure with surprisingly fluid combat controls for an RPG - loving it!
This game is everything the buzz promises...and definitely recommend the enhanced edition - particularly for the game guide that's included - it does a wonderful job of highlighting many of the games secrets you're likely to miss but it does so by embedding them into a narrative flow. Wonderfully creative and doesn't just hand it all to you on a plate. The game itself is gorgeous - I have watched the intro sequence over and over again. And when you first encounter the dragon, it's what xbox and big screen tvs were made for! A real pleasure to experience. The story is deep and keeps getting deeper, but is told in such a way that you never feel bored or overwhelmed. There are seemingly endless combinations of alchemy, spells and other uses of inventory which I've barely scratched the surface of yet but the game seems to allow you plenty of time to grow into familiarity with those aspects without being skint on the action in the meantime. Without doubt the most engaging RPG I've played yet. Zavvi have a wonderful deal on this game - the best price I found anywhere! Couldn't recommend it more highly!
