One of the best kids games ever!

Toy Story 3 came highly recommended to me be a friend who said it was the best game he'd found for his children. I'm glad to say that he was definitely right and I can wholeheartedly recommend this to anyone with younger children. My 4 year old loves it and I can jump in and play with him any time he gets stuck which is brilliant.

A fun game for all the family

Don't be put off by the fact this is a movie tie-in - it's a great game and a lot of fun for kids and adults alike. Pros: Full co-op modes Varied Story Missions Addictive Toy-Box mode All your favourite Toy Story characters Cons: Story mode is short Not all characters have their original voice actors.

A fun game for all the family

My sister recently received this game as a birthday present and I originally dismissed it as another kids movie tie-in to gain some extra cash for the developers, riding on the success of the (brilliant) film. But the game comes with a fully-fledged co-op mode so me and my sister played through the main story together and it is extremely fun to play, and in many parts challenging, even for people who play a lot of games designed for older people as I do. So the story missions are fun and varied but it is disappointingly short, so you head over to the much-hyped Toy Box mode, which I must say is an absolute breath of fresh air. You can play as either Woody Buzz or Jessie, and this mode also supports co-op for 2 people to play together in split-screen. The object of this mode is to create a town for all of the Toy Story characters by completing missioins for them, thereby earning coins, and buying buildings and new toys with these coins. It's extremely addictive and designed very well, you always say to yourself that you'll do just one more mission, or buy one more toy, but the game keeps throwing new things at you. All in all this game is fantastic, and definitely bucks the trend of movie-to-game disasters we've seen recently (Iron-Man 2 for example), and I believe it deserves a place in anyone's games library. Pros: Full co-op modes Varied Story Missions Addictive Toy-Box mode All your favourite Toy Story characters Cons: Story mode is short Not all characters have their original voice actors

Toy Story 3

Don't be put off by the fact this is a movie tie-in - it's a great game and a lot of fun for kids and adults alike. In fact, you can even play at the same time, AND you don't have to do the same levels together if you don't want to! While the main game is only quite short - eight levels in total - there is a brilliant sandbox mode that allows you to build up your own town in a western setting. You can do missions, dress up the toys that inhabit, go exploring or just ride Bullseye ("like the wind", I suppose!). It's so much better than I ever expected it to be, and it will last you a long, long time. The only problems I have with it are the lack of main levels and the fact Buzz and Woody aren't voiced by their real actors. Minor quibbles though.
