Starhawk (Pre-Order DLC)
This game is just what I have been waiting for! It is fantastic and the build and battle means every multiplayer match will be different! Many things to do on the game so you don't get bored straight away. I recommend that you buy this.

Starhawk (Pre-Order DLC)
I would be lying if I said the campaign for Starhawk was anything more than a glorified tutorial. The story is not particularly gripping, however it is at least useful to play as it teaches you the basics of the excellent build and battle system that makes Starhawk unique. The multiplayer mode is where Starhawk holds strong, with a massive community following, with 32 player online play. Online Split-Screen is also excellent here allowing two PSN accounts on one PS3, meaning the second player can keep their stats. The maps are huge here, probably to accommodate the Build and Battle system. With Build and Battle the whole online play changes. Whether you're constructing a launch pad, beam cannon, or defending your flag with a wall this system is where Starhawk really shines. The problem with this however is that your team has a build limit, which can quickly fill with pointless constructions. The Hawks themselves are also a game changer. The team with the best pilots can often be the winning team, swooping down and keeping the enemy suppressed. The only major problem in multiplayer is that it's easy to get dominated by the enemy if they take hold of your base. Overall it's a lot of fun.

SUPPORT STARHAWK!
It's a shame that not many of you will know Starhawk, partly due to the fact that it's not being advertised very well. Lord only knows why this game isn't for it's a brilliant First Party exclusive that deserves your support. Starhawk is a third person shooter, and I know what you're thinking, the market is SATURATED with Shooters so what makes this one so special? Starhawk has quite the charm to it. It blends whats made the genre so successful together and then tops it with a unique style and game mechanic that sets this game apart from the rest. The "Build n' Battle" system, which takes elements from the RTS genre, allows you to Build all sorts of structures to help you in game. Need a supply bunker? Drop one down (yes you ACTUALLY watch it fall from right out of the sky), Enemies coming in to attack your base? set up walls to block their entry. The System works well in that you don't feel overpowered, theres a limit to what you can build in game so theres strategy involved. You need to think about what you're building in order to win the game. This means when playing Online you have to work as a team in order to succeed you can't build whatever you want, it has to work with what's been built already. Speaking of Online, the game Supports 32 Player Matches and the Maps are absolutely huge like Battlefield 3. Jumping into matches is easy enough and joining your friends in battle is even easier. On top of that Starhawk provides a balanced weapon system, a plethora of Vehicles to ride in, and a Campaign mode set in a Space Western (tell me that isn't AWESOME) . This game has some of the best multiplayer action on the PS3 and if you own one you owe it to yourself to get this game. Starhawk may not have been advertised well so it's up to us Gamers to tell others how awesome this game is, so please support Starhawk!
