Second parts can be better than the original
I really liked the first part of the series but from minute 1 it's obvious that this game has had much more work done to it behind the scenes. They knew how to improve the experience with the wiimote plus as well as the quality of the graphics and animations. Don't doubt it, buy this game and enjoy a new experience with your wii - the best control with a sword in the whole catalogue.

Red Steel 2
Red Steel 2 is simply the best FPA on WII. Even better then Golden Eye and Conduit 2. It must be played in "Ninja Mode" with the maximum sensibility of the Wiimote. Learn to use the "Katana Combo" is essential for fun and the game is a must-have for your collection!

Lots of combos!
I have got the first Red Steel so i was expecting a similar sort of feel with this game but it feels much more exciting to play and the controls are way slicker, especially with shooting. You can switch between shooting and sword fighting throughout the game. And as you progress you can unlock lots of different combos for your sword which is helpful as you fight the tougher characters. As well as that there's a range of other weapons to use. The comic book style visuals are fun and the story is exciting. I also really like the mix of Japanese and Western environments. Personally i thought the story mode was a bit too short, but apart from that this game is a great first-person shooter. You'll get great satisfaction from taking out a load of baddies with your awesome combos!
