Good enough
The original Driver for PlayStation was a huge surprise because of the console's hardware. The second one was a bit to pretentious and the third simply disappointed press and users due to its "GTA like missions". This time San Francisco goes back to its roots and centers its fun into the races across the city. The objectives are well designed and balanced. I missed a better story board.

It's a game that delivers what it promised, good car scenes typical movie theater. Good graphics, the story is nothing special, but the game itself has a good essence so it's a game that I recommend because it's so good!

Pleasant surprise!
I had read positive reviews about Driver: San Francisco, so when I saw it for a fair price at Zavvi I ordered it without hesitation. And boy is it good! I have played the earlier games in the series all the way from the Playstation One-era. The earlier entries in the series had their problems, but the newest one fixes practically all of those flaws! Smooth graphics, fun and responsive gameplay, decent plot and sweet cars! I highly recommend this game at this price from Zavvi.

Driver: San Francisco has decent physics, plenty of freedom, and a nice (if not very sophisticated) story. Definitely recommended.

Another masterpiece game from Ubisoft. It has some of the best graphics they have ever done, and a very good storyline to be completed. These make it a game that, in short, is great!

A fantastic reboot for the Driver franchise.
Ubisoft and Reflections bring back the Driver franchise with a bang. The once dying series has been revitalised thanks to the innovative 'shift' mechanic that allows the player to quickly move between cars. This mechanic makes the game really fun and frantic as you try and complete missions without messing up. The 'shift' manoeuvre is accompanied by an interesting cop tale told in the style of a 70s TV show, with likeable characters and great set pieces. All of this action plays at a smooth 60fps, backed up by a great soundtrack. Driver San Francisco is a great game only marred by its short story campaign and lack of detail in the buildings and cityscape.

Must have if you love first Driver titles
I think Driver 1 and Driver 2 were great games on PlayStation. Driver: San Francisco has the same feeling - you can enjoy the ride. Graphics and music are nice, and online mode works great. If you loved the first two Driver titles, then you should buy this Driver too.
