Easy to play, hard to master

Know those long RPG's that ruin your social life due to the extreme amounts of quests, and loot to discover. This Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate is that kind game. The different methods of combat is hard to learn, but they are rewarding!

Great Game!

Although Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate is hard to get into, once you start it is incredibly addictive. Online play is really easy to get involved in, and this is where the game truly shines. It's recommend to anyone slightly interested in the game.

It's Hunting Time Again!

Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate returns for for Nintendo's newest console, the Wii U! Fans of the original will no doubt be itching to get this installment, and for those new to the series, now is the time to plunge in. The premise of Monster Hunter is simple - you will embark on quests that will have you tracking down and battling large and extremely dangerous monsters. Slay them, and you will get the opportunity to carve scales and talons from their corpses to forge new weapons and armour. However, these monsters will obviously not make life easy for you. A good hunter is one that will observe the traits of a monster and know when to strike. Charge in recklessly, and more often than not, you'll be on the receiving end of a monster beatdown! So what are the changes from the original Tri? Let's start with the monsters - old ones return, but now you can also encounter their 'subspecies' (usually variants of the same monster with different colours). Some new monsters also make a debut here. The visuals have also improved, but what was jaw dropping for the Wii's standards, is less so on the new console, especially compared to other games. Nevertheless, it's still usually quite pretty to look at. The Wii U version is also able to communicate with the 3DS version of Monster Hunter Tri Ultimate, meaning that you can transfer your save file on the 3DS and continue the hunt on the go! Other changes include some minor plot changes (and the addition of a new sidekick), as well as an improved online with a new location (Port Tanzania) as the hub where you can meet other hunters and enjoy some co-op hunts. All in all, this game is pretty much a must-have for Wii U owners, especially whilst we wait for the first party titles to come along. You can spend hours upon hours playing games from the Monster Hunter series, and you'll love every minute of it!
