Kid Icarus: Uprising is the feverishly anticipated third game in the legendary saga that has been enjoyed by all for over twenty five years, and is the follow up to the original game Kid Icarus. Uprising was created and designed specifically for the Nintendo 3DS by Masahiro Sakurai (creator of Kirby and Super Smash Bros.), and was developed by his team at Project Sora.
Step once again into the shoes of our angelic protagonist Pit, who finds himself face to face with a reborn Medusa. Hell-bent on exterminating all of mankind, Medusa and her Underworld Army have only one thing standing in their way between world domination: Pit. Knowing he cannot defeat these terrifying monsters on his own, Pit joins forces with Palutena, the Goddess of Light and guardian of the human race. In order to give Pit a helping hand, Palutena grants Pit with the Miracle Of Flight; this allows him to fly for a certain amount of time, and aids him in travelling to all corners of the world, where monsters and an evil doppelgänger by the name of Dark Pit await him...

Kid Icarus: Uprising is perfectly balanced when it comes to fast-paced action and beautiful environments. The game is a visually dazzling and graphically breathtaking creation, completely jam packed with action sequences that are set at incredible breakneck speed. There are two different style of combat; aerial and ground, which gives you two levels to admire the gorgeous scenery and try out all of Pit's new moves and weapons. The air chapters in this story are set as guided on-rail shooting segments, with Palutena guiding Pit's path and leaving him to shoot and dodge the attacks of the flying enemies that pursue you. When on the ground, the combat is set in the style of a third person shooter, with both long range and close quarters combat ready at your fingertips; shoot from a distance, or get up close and personal with melee attacks, as well as various moves at your disposal that will allow you to dodge enemy attacks with style.
When it comes to weapons, there are a wide variety that have been introduced in order to make battle all the more layered, strategic, and exhilarating. There are nine different categories which include bows, claws, blades, and more, each type offering their own special bonuses and ability boosts; improved running speed, for example. Defeated enemies will provide you with weapons and also hearts, which act as the game's currency. These hearts can be used to increase the difficulty of Uprising by betting them against the computer, and proving you are good enough to have the difficulty raised on the game's scalable difficulty meter, otherwise known as the Fiend's Cauldron. When the difficulty is increased, you will earn better weapon drops and rewards when you defeat enemies and complete chapters; the higher the difficulty, the more powerful the equipment. These innovative features within Kid Icarus: Uprising are in abundance, and prove just how exceptional this game truly is. Overall, Uprising was more than worth the wait.(Cat Emerson)

Kid Icarus: Uprising (Includes Free Game and 3DS Stand)
Kid Icarus: Uprising is a great 3DS game with unquestionable replay value. The gameplay is amazing, the dialogues are hilarious and the story keeps dragging you to play the game. Actually, there are many plot twists along the way, so you're never sure what's going to happen next, letting you unravel the mystery. All the action is mixed with an excellent soundtrack, making the whole adventure a more pleasurable one. You can also change the controls at will, so if you're not the kind of person who likes to use the stylus and the 3DS stand all the time, there is always another way to play the game. Uprising allows you to play the way you want: lower difficulties will bring you safety, but less rewards; harder ones will be a challenge, but the treasures you can obtain from this kind of risky strategy are worth the effort. You'll be able to replay chapters over and over again, so it's great to come back once in a while to try to obtain new kinds of treasures. There's a great arsenal at your disposition and you can also create new weapons by the use of a fusion system. If you're tired of the single player, you can still have fun with the multiplayer mode. As you can see, there are many reasons to buy this game, making it one of the best titles in the Nintendo 3DS library.

Kid Icarus: Uprising
Since I've had Kid Icarus: Uprising I have not stopped playing. There are many things to do and there are many awards to play again the chapter, and you can change the difficulty to obtain better weapons. Section multiplayer is amazing, very funny and very entertaining and without lag. You can enjoy the game without the circle pad pro. If you do not know what game to buy, this one will ensure fun for long time.

Ok, Addictive game
The 3D on the 3DS is a gadget but it's interesting with this game. At the beginning, I didn't know what think about this game. In each level, it's the same thing, flying, running, shooting, boss. . . . But it may refer to the definition of a game. This game is fun and addictive. what do you expect? Fun, I can repeat 100 times the levels, and it is hard to reach the highest level of difficulty. I like the system of Icarons and weapons makes the game even more addictive.

Kid Icarus: Uprising (Includes Free Game and 3DS Stand)
Kid Icarus uprising is a game I was looking forward since it was announced for the 3DS. Now that I have gotten it and played it, the question stands, did it live up to my expectations? When starting up the game I am met by a very sweet title menu that lets me jump wherever I want with the touch screen. As I wanted to get right into the action I started the single player campaign right away. Oh how happy I became. Each stage in Kid Icarus Uprising is divided into two diffrent parts. The flying part and the ground part. Each stage start out with the Flying part which is a total blast. You fly around with Pit blasting away bad guys while enjoying the story, that is told during the stages. Here you control Pit with the slide pad while aiming with the touch screen. After you finished the fly part, you take the battle to the ground. Here you run around freely while still aiming with the touch screen. This takes some getting used to, but it works all right when you get into it. It also have a multiplayer mode that is not as fun as the Story one but fun enough to sink your teeth in. While its good that the action is fast, it is also what keeps me from setting 5/5 grade, since you easy miss some story text when concentrating on all the action and the ground battles can become a bit frustrating at times since you have to aim with the touchscreen. All in all however, Kid Icarus Uprising is an amazing game which gives hours of angel fun.

Pit flies again
Once again the Nintendo 3DS can do no wrong, after the excellent Mario Kart 7 and Resident Evil: Revelations, a new stellar hit arrives on our 3DS screens. Kid Icarus: Uprising is an adventure you will not want to miss, it has everything going for it! Embark on an exciting adventure with Pit the angel against the evil Medusa, using countless different weapons and trying out the innovative touch controls. The multiplayer is just as good if not better, with team battles and single deathmatch. Highly recommended!

Kid Icarus: Uprising (Includes Free Game and 3DS Stand)
Kid Icarus: Uprising is the most fun game I have played this year on any system. Hours after finishing it, I still play the campaign on various difficulty sets, in order to get weapons to fuse into stronger ones and so on. I played very little of the excellent and challenging multiplayer, which means that this game has no end. It gets you hooked. Tons of replay value and content guarantees a purchase that you won't regret. As for the difficulty of the controls, this is part of what makes the game so good, it contains a mastery level so rewarding and satisfying that only the greatest games of the past had. The very finest!

Kid Icarus: Uprising (Includes Free Game and 3DS Stand)
Kid Icarus: Uprising is an amazing game. Lots of people have been complaining about the lack of dual-stick controls, but I think that the combination of the circle pad and touch screen is even more accurate than dual-stick. The graphics are stunning, controls are great and the gameplay is superb. The online multiplayer is pretty fun as well, and you get new weapons after every game. I recommend this game to everyone!

Kid Icarus: Uprising (Includes Free Game and 3DS Stand)
Kid Icarus is a real gem. Put the time into this game, and you will be rewarded with a top-quality gaming experience. The controls are a little tricky to master at first, but once you master them and start gaining extra weapons and abilities, the game-play is awesome. The in-game guides are really helpful too.
