Tour of Duty focuses on a single platoon of young U.S. soldiers during their one year tour of combat duty in Vietnam during the late 1960's. Terence Knox, Kevin Conroy, Stephen Caffrey, Joshua Maurer, Steve Akahoshi, Tony Becker, Eric Bruskotter, Stan Foster, Ramon Franco, and Miguel A. Nunez Jr, star as the infantrymen, who represent diverse racial, cultural and philosophical backgrounds, but must ultimately depend on one another, whilst facing the enemy troops and struggling to survive the hostile terrain of South East Asia. Tour of Duty - Season 1
I have been waiting for years for this to come out on DVD, and the wait was well worth it. It brings back memories of staying up late on a Saturday night to watch it, then talking about nothing other than it on Monday at school. I can't wait for season 2 that much, I've pre-ordered it already.
