One for the collection
As with most fans of sc-fi films I love the matrix. I was blown away the from first time I saw the original film, the special effects were and still are breath taking, they were cutting edge and completely revolutionary. The story line was original and complicated, it took me a couple of viewings to understand properly the story but I think part of the pleasure of this movie is that you can watch it over and over and learn more about it each time, thus not getting bored. The subsequent sequels have not been to every bodies taste but in my opinion unjustified criticism. The movies contain your handsome hero, a gorgeous heroine, a brilliant bad guy and a wise man all acted brilliantly by a great cast, in this action packed multi layered trilogy. Why buy the ultimate collection ? Well for me it, it does exactly what it says on the tin as they say.
