The Deadly Spawn - Product Review
Yes, it's a "so bad it's good" flick, but this release from Arrow is totally worth the coins spilled. Not only do you get a bucket-load of extras on the disc, there's a neat booklet by Calum Waddell and Tim Sullivan that gives you a great background to the film & the time period this cheesy Alien rip-off was released. Overall, the film itself was a fun watch, but the Arrow inclusions make it all the more worthwhile. If you dig "lost" cult cinema, you can't go wrong here. Just add beer & a few mates, and you've got yourself a great nite ahead! Highly recommended.

So bad it's only occasionally good.
Aw well, some movies are smaller than their reputation. Precious few of the actors moved on in the business and the effects are on par with ultra cheap cgi. There might be a few Alien-esque features but by then I'm deep asleep...zzz.
