Fantastic
I received fantastic service from Zavvi as always, Star Trek: The Original Series arrived quicker than expected which is great! The series itself is fantastic, and at this price, it's a bargain for what you're getting. The only thing to note is that the discs are in cardboard sleeves instead of full DVD boxes. This keeps the box compact and keeps the price down. It doesn't really bother me, I'm still glad I bought the series this way, but some people might not like this form of packaging. Other than that, I have no complaints. Overall it's a fantastic product and I'd definitely recommend buying it!

Brill! Small and compact but best gift for my dad this year. Both being massive trekkies we will be spending our christmas night drinking cider and watching these bad boys! Price isn't half bad either! Great!

Fascinating captain
The work that has gone into restoring the series is fascinating. There are some great background enhancements as well as to the ship itself which only add to the already legendary series. It would not be logical not to postpone purchasing this DVD, especially at such a low price, you will not be disappointed. Live long and prosper.

Original and restored
So what can be said about Star Trek: The Original Series that has not already been said a million times? Well, not very much, but as it was about time I upgraded my grainy, recorded of TV, VHS collection, and this came up at a bargain price, I took the plunge. I am not disappointed. Purists may complain that this is not the original, after all the flashy CGI exteriors of the Enterprise and view screen images are not exactly 1966, but they do not detract from what has been a beautiful restoration of the film. The show totally looks great and not dated in the least. In fact it looks so good I do not even notice that it was made nearly 50 years ago. A timeless show in great box set that if you have not upgraded yet and do not want to pay through the nose for the forthcoming BluRay releases, you must have.

boldly going
Star Trek: The Original Series - Complete Box Set brings back all the memories of my childhood in the 60s but in full colour and updated effects all in one box set. The DVD Packaging could of been better but for the low price from send it well worth it.

Excellent price
Finally, all of the Star Trek Original series are available in one box. Instead of normal DVD cases, the DVDs were just slipped into some cardboard pockets, so handle with care to avoid scratching the DVDs. The image quality is very good, it is clear that some sequences like shuttle landings or planets have been redone to look more authentic.

Star Trek: The Original Series - Complete Box Set
Fantastic to have all these Star Trek episodes to view at any time. Subsequent Star Trek derivatives pale into insignificance compared with original series. Remastered CG shots and recolouring are excellent, and good that the original 4:3 format is maintained; (recent TV transmissions chop top and bottom of picture off). Very pleased.
