Star Trek The Next Gereration - Season 1 (Slim Box)

Star Trek TNG Season 1 really was an experimental season as it was trying to keep with the tradition of the original Star Trek staring William Shatner whilst trying to add some new ideas. This made this season quite frustrating to watch when in later seasons production had managed to polish the series and give TGN its own individuality. There are some interesting lines and plots that make one cringe as later in the series you would never expect Jean Luc Picard to behave in such a manner as he does in this particular season. On the whole though, it's good to see how TNG started off and how they eventually managed to come into their own. Well worth seeing.
