Rhod Gilbert - comedy superstar
Rhod Gilbert delivers a storming set based upon his Edinburgh set in 2008. The title is the Award Winning Mince Pie and its a rambling story about his frustrations with life eventually boiling over in a service station one lonely night. However there's more to it than that with a trip to Wales, stalking and lots of fun with the Welsh language along the way. Gilbert is a star story teller with an understated and charming delivery. He's been on the comiedy circuit for a while and after paying his dues now seems to be getting his just reward. He's been on Mock the Week and Never mInd the buzzcocks but they don't do justice to his style of comedy. This DVD really helps you understand what the fuss is all about.
