those bad lady blues!!!!!!
long after within these walls and a hell of a long way before bad girls (both classic british prison dramas!!) came this little aussie gem!!!! prisoner cell block h hit the tv screens running full pelt way back in 1979 and ran for 692 episodes over the next eight years!! us brits got to see this late nights on itv and as a teenager i loved every single minute of it!! here we go back to the beginning for the first 32 episodes of the cult classic!! bea smith,unofficially,rules the roost much to the annoyance of the governor mrs erica davidson and her prisoner officers!! be prepared to be shocked and thrilled at the same time as the ladies who love to be bad entertain fans old and new alike,a must for any lover of top quality aussie soap/dramas!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

One of the greatest Aussie exports
Bea Smith and Joan 'the Freak' Ferguson are two of the greatest characters ever written. Prisoner features some truly daring and heartbreaking storylines. Without Prisoner there would be no Bad Girls.
