Adapted from Michael Bond's beloved books, Paddington follows the comic misadventures of a polite young Peruvian bear with a passion for all things British, who travels to London in search of a home.
Finding himself lost and alone at Paddington Station, he begins to realise that city life is not all he had imagined - until he meets the kind Brown family, who read the label around his neck ('Please look after this bear. Thank you.') and offer him a temporary haven. cute London postcard
With people like Hugh Bonnington and Nicole Kidman, you'd think this film was set to work... but somehow, even with all the cute Paddington Bear animes, this film just seemed more like postcard from someone enamoured by the city of london which just didnt quite pull it off... worth seeing, but not a "must see".

The new Paddington
We have already seen this delightful film twice at local cinemas and already have lent our DVD to friends. The animation is superb and the story is very funny and yet moving in places. Hugh Bonnington is excellent as the stern father figure supported by Julie Walters as the amusing housekeeper and Nicole Kidman plays the evil taxidermist who comes over as a cross between Cruella de Ville and Joanna Lumley !

birthday gift
Excellent service , the dvd arrived as promised and I was kept informed of progress throughout. As it's a gift for my grandson's birthday soon I don't know his reaction but I'm sure he will be delighted!
