Arthur has finally left Olive, which has its good points and bad points, one of them being that Stan has to grovel to Blakey to get her job as a clippie. This isn't Blakey's only problem - he has to try and create a works football team out of only one good player and a bunch of layabouts whilst arranging for an exhibition to celebrate the works 'fiftieth anniversary.
