the next, and sets out to investigate. Meanwhile, his colleague Dr Napier delivers glad tidings to a married woman but

A distraught Dr Napier berates herself for failing to diagnose a case of diphtheria, while Dr Cameron shoulders the melancholy task of attending an old friend who is hovering at death’s door.
