Kitano in steel
Zatoichi is a classic japanese story. Takeshi Kitanos take on this one is very entertaining. You get some great fight scenes as well as a very interesting story. Audio and picture quality was really great. The movie never looked and sounded better. The steelbook is a real eye catcher. If you like japanese movies and Takeshi Kitano ... buy it!

Never seen this film before,bought as a blind buy,as I had previously bought the 13 assassins steel book,must say that it was another great steel book from you guys at zavvi,,really enjoyed the film too think it will appeal to fans of martial arts and Asian films in general,great action film from the blind swordsman,

Zatoichi - Zavvi ExclusIve Limited Edition Steelbook
'Beat' Takeshi Kitano's brilliant retelling of the classic Zatoichi films is a lot of fun to watch. Very entertaining, funny, artistic and overall a great, well made film.The action is frequent and bloody, directed with a lot of style. What this film does is inject some serious class into an old formula. All of the 'Kitano' trademarks are there to please fans of his work and create a really enjoyable film. If you like Samurai films then this is an absolute must see! The Steelbook is absolutely beautiful, one of my favourites. The image is a matte painting which is perfect. Words or pictures cannot describe just how gorgeous this Steelbook is, Zavvi have really outdone themselves here. Apart from being a fantastic film, this is worth purchasing for the Steelbook alone!!!!!! So add this to your collection now & I promise, you will not be disappointed.
