Twelve people have walked on the moon, but only one man – Philippe Petit (Joseph Gordon-Levitt) – has ever walked in the immense void between the World Trade Centre towers. Guided by his real-life mentor, Papa Rudy (Ben Kingsley), and aided by an unlikely band of international recruits, Petit and his gang overcome long odds, betrayals, dissension and countless close calls to conceive and execute their mad plan. Academy Award®-winning director Robert Zemeckis uses advanced technology in the service of an emotional, character-driven story. THE WALK is a love letter to Paris and New York City in the 1970s, but most of all, to the Towers of the World Trade Centre.

The Walk
Excellent film seen before in just 2d so when purchased for the option of the 3d blu ray and steelbook had to add to my collection

Amazing!
This one really took me by surprise. Thoroughly enjoyed it, and the 3D added a new level of tension to the scenes at the top of the WTC. Plenty of special features to go through, and the steelbook is really nice. Another piece of magic from Robert Zemeckis!

Stunning
It may prove vertigo-inducing for some (maybe many), but its jaw-dropping visuals and tension are "balanced" by the story of determination and sheer wild enthusiasm. The steelbook itself exceeded my expectations with its glossy finish and great artwork, it is a must for all collectors.

PERFECT
This steelbook is amazing in person. The colors are beautiful and it is very glossy. I live in the U.S.A and my steelbook got to be damaged free. No dents, no scratches. THANK YOU ZAVVI!!!!!

The Walk 3d
Saw this film at the cinema, absolutely loved it so was always a day one purchase. The fact that there was a limited steelbook was all the better, as a steelbook collector this is a must buy. The story is compelling and the 3d is the best i have seen in a long time. Highly recommended.

The twin-towers
This is a great movie if you like hights.... The steelbook is beautiful. The movie is abaut a wirewalker, that eventually ends up in New York. There he has to get the wire and other equipment up to the top of the wtc. He has to sneak. and get help from locals to pull it of. The scenes when he walks between the 2 towers 410 meters up, is just beautiful! The fact that it really happened, makes it even better. Great cast. great dialouge, and a fantastic story. Buy it!
