What can I say, you can't go wrong with troma, beautiful steel at a great price

The movie of the 80 genre and a very rare Steel book treatment. The steel book itself is awesome and stands out in the collection. Also at a great value. Still on sale for 6.99. Worth the price. The artwork is impressive and a movie of low production value the P&Q is really good. Happy with the purchase and thanks to Zavvi.

Awsome steelbook to a great cult classic

Toxic Avenger is an excellent cult classic, one of the best B-films ever made. It's incredibly stupid (most of the time on purpose) and that's why it's so hilarious. And when it's not funny, it's brutal and over the top violent. Which in my opinion makes it even better, especially since it has actually great effects for a 30-year-old B-film. The steelbook is also incredibly well made, and I love to have it as part of my collection. I was very surprised to see how much extras are on the disc, it even has a japanese cut of the movie (in SD). Only problem I have is that the movie doesn't have any kind of subtitles, not even HI english. I like having some subtitles in movies since I'm not a native english speaker, but I still didn't miss any of the Oscar worthy dialogue because of the surprisingly good audio quality. If you like movies from the 80's or B-films from any era, I recommend getting this. Other fans will TOXIC with jealousy when they see you have this classic not only on blu-ray, but on a great looking collector's steelbook.

An absolute must have for those toxic avenger fans. The steelbook is beautiful as well as the sound quality and picture quality of the film. If you have yet to see this film then i highly recommend it. Very cheesy, very original, and very fun.

Troma was a company i wasn't sure should go near toying with the idea of blu's. They used to overcram 8gb Dvd's and everything was a pixelated mess, and wit te option to over cram 50gb i thought they might do the same, and these shot on low graade film stock i thought couldn't really upgrade that much, but like texas chainsaw and evil dead showed me, the transition to blu can be the best thing they did Toxic 1 - 4 Look GREAT, and the extras are good fun with many extra advertising interviews n trailers for their other fun to schlocky work If you grew up on this, haven't seen it, or have friends that have never heard of it get it now. you won't be disappointed (class of nuke em high looks sweet too)

Embossing on the steelbook is very nice and the movie was very funny!

I mean, who doesn't LOVE Toxie? He's trashy, he's gross, he raises all kinds of hell on bad guys AND he gets the girl. All this wearing a tutu. No wonder he got a BR release. The guy deserved it.
