Fantastic film & a spot on steelbook.
The film has an amzing cast Jim C. Is a very gifted actor indeed. A film that perfectly mixes the paradise nature surroundings with war. A fantastic paradox that is in itself in your face as it were. All stellar cast that each & every one does not let you down. Great film the steel I will agree is minimalist. But that is what is just needed. Recommend 101%.

Excellent!
A thought-provoking war movie. And for a movie like this, I really like the minimalistic steel case design. It matches the theme well. Highly recommended for steelbook collectors! 5/5!

Simple but cheap
The Steel book is very minimalist but I quite like that. Shame there isn't anything more to make it special but for the price Zavvi has been selling it I can't complain.

Gift for my dad
This was bought as an Xmas present for my dad, excellent quality steel book good art work on it, however I haven't yet seen it play and what the picture quality is as Xmas is not yet here, hopefully it won't disappoint, recommend for collectors of steel books!

Thin Red Line is slow but moving
Very well done movie. More dreamy & surreal than action packed. Pace might be too languid for some but this is typical of the filmmaker. Well worth watching. Steelbook is fairly plain but still nice to have. Was hesitant on acquiring the Criterion version of this due to the price and I'm glad I didn't. Video quality on this version of the film is outstanding so I am pleased.

The Thin Red Line - Limited Edition Steelbook
Absolutely love the film. Do not really like the steelbook. As far as Steelbooks go it's OK,just OK. It's a bit bland, a bit boring. For a film as great as this it should have been a lot better. But considering the price at the moment and how classic the actual film is, you should pick this one up.
