5th Element by Luc Besson
I love Luc Besson films and The Fifth Element is tongue in cheek enough to be very watchable, just don't expect it to be an intellectual film. This film features a great cast and is a good film to end the night on.

The Fifth Element
I never get fed up with The Fifth Element. I've now watched it on Blu-ray and it`s even better, this is money well spent for any Sci-fi lovers.

The Fifth Element
Loved this film when it was originally released in the cinema, albeit until Chris Tucker's Ruby Rhod character turns up, which I felt kind of ruined the film a bit. That aside though, if you're after a good sci-fi action film with a stylish twist and with SFX that still looks good now as it did back in 1997, then you could do worse than check it out. The video transfer on bluray disc itself is really clear and sharp and the audio sounded really good too. The extras are not too bad. There is one documentary on how the ideas for the film were conceived as well as shorter featurettes on other aspects on the behind the scenes. There is also a featurette by MTV when the film opened the Cannes Film Festival including a concert by Neneh Cherry. Overall, if you loved the film, then I would recommend getting this bluray.

5th Element
This is one of those rare ground breaking movies that appeals to not just one select group but a wider audience. Stunning special effects, an action hero who the viewers route for, an over the top bad guy and of course a stunning attractive leading lady. A must for the definitive Blu-Ray collection.
