SHAUN is a clever, mischievous sheep who lives with his flock on Mossy Bottom Farm, under the nominal supervision of The Farmer. Despite Shaun’s best efforts, life on the farm has got into a bit of a rut, and Shaun concocts a cunning plan - to have a day off.
Events rapidly escalate out of control and Shaun’s mischief inadvertently leads to the hapless farmer being taken away from the farm and into the Big City.
With the flock’s help, Shaun must leave the farm for the first time in order to rescue The Farmer. But how will the sheep survive? Can they avoid being recognised as sheep and thus avoid the clutches of a fearsome animal catcher? In the course of an action-packed adventure they experience a host of wild and funny mishaps, as well as meeting new and interesting characters, including a little orphan dog called Slip who makes Shaun realise that having a home and a family is not something to be taken for granted.

Wondeful. Full of details!
The movie is full of details and references. Of course, you could expect nothing less from Ardman. This is really intelligent entertainment, for kids and adults alike. Many jokes about digitisation and social media. Many references to other movies like The Shawshank Redemption, Silence of the Lambs and X-men, to name a few. And it's also just plain funny. And with a complete lack of dialogue. Really impressive! Steelbook is awesome as well. It's just full of sheep. Like the movie. So it matches perfectly. Highly recommended!

Best film since wallace and gromit, highly recommend to any film fan if u enjoyed Chicken Run u will love this.

Shaun the sheep
shaun the sheep is one of my most favourite characters - especially thanks to the series. The movie is in my opinion a little bit lower compared to the series; the issue is also the lenght: a 7-minute long episode is sufficient for most of the jokes and the episodes' points. But the 90minutes movie lacks of something (I can't name it exactly). I don't say that the movie is bad - it is great fun at all - but when I compare it to the series, the series seems to be a bit better in my eyes. The steelbook itself is similar; I would prefer a few changes - different artwork on the front and back sides of the steelbook or the movie's name on the spine.

Baa-rilliant!
Having being a fan of Aardman and their other films from Wallace and Gromit to Chicken Run, I was interested in seeing what Shaun the Sheep had to offer. And boy he did not disappoint! This is a wonderfully funny film that features such clever action sequences, beautifully designed animations and is suitable for all ages from any background. There is something magical about telling a story without any words, something this film does perfectly. The result of this is that it captures your attention throughout, so there will be no one on their smart phone when this is on the screen. It is filled with imagination and a spirit to entertain above anything else. What more could you ask for? Add this to your basket today for a baa-rilliant time for all!

Cute and funny
As a fan of Shaun I had to see this movie. Really cute and funny, definitely worth seeing and not just for kids! Shaun and chums become bored of their repetitive lives so decide to have a day relaxing. It doesn't take long for everything to go wrong. Hilarity ensues as well as some touching moments when Shaun shows he is more than just a plasticine sheep.
