Robin Hood/ Gladiator
I have mixed feelings about this Russell Crowe Box Set: Robin Hood / Gladiator duo. Gladiator was really good but Robin Hood was rubbish.

Super Bluray
Before i review this boxset i must mention the fantastic price for this product with zavvi. The 2 movies are very enjoyable with Gladiator being the better movie by a long way but Robin hood is a 7/10. The picture on bluray is fantastic with great sound and PQ is way better than the standard dvd releases. I really would recommend this double movie boxset and would make a great xmas pressie.

Amazing dual Russell Crowe blu ray
Blu Rays can be an expensive, premium item but at this price it's a set well worth having... Both of these films are timeless classics that will stand the test of time. Gladiator was definitely my favourite film of 2000, an epic tale of family, love, power and deception. Amazing fight scenes and a deep plot with unexpected twists and turns. The blu ray version elevates this with amazing sound and picture quality with a whole host of extras and interviews including the Oliver Reed. If that wasn't reason enough to own this set you have Robin Hood, a reboot of the popular tale, much more serious than the Kevin Costner version, gritty and real with amazing performances from an all star cast. Again a whole host of extras are present and the film looks and sounds stunning in full HD with re-worked audio. If you are lucky enough to have a full HD set-up I can't help but whole heartedly recommend these epic tales of bygone eras at a an amazing price.

Epic movies!
The Blurays deliver both best picture and sound quality. Gladiator is the second edition with great picture. Both are the 2-Disc Versions. Gladiator 2 x Blurays and Robin Hood 1 x Bluray and 1 x Bonus-DVD. Robin hood is not everybodys style, but i think it´s a good movie. Gladiator...perfect! Bought it for 9,95 Punds. So, great value! Get your helmet and your sword and turn your TV / projector on. ;)
