Great movie, Awesome Steelbook
I loved this movie. As a Sci-Fi fan I could not have asked for more. Guy Pearce was perfect for this role and I also happen to love the guy as an actor. He was a kickbutt action man with a lot of good one liners thrown it for some great laughs. In a way it reminded me of the old days with Sly and Arnie lighting up the screen in their own action brands. Pearce was a throwback to those types of movies in this one. Great flick

Better than expected
I bought this because it was on offer. Also was curious but didn't want to spend a lot if if was bad. I was pleasantly. Surprised. This movie is never going to win any oscars but as an enjoyable light sci-fi movie it was fun. Special effects could have been better, but I suspect the budget was not there for that. All in all worth a watch, just don't expect anything deep or profound. Buy it, get some pop corn and sit back and enjoy.

Die Hard in Space
Guy Pearce really channels his inner-Bruce Willis. He gets the girl and kills the baddies and that's all we should ever want from a film. Just don't go into this expecting The Deer Hunter. It's action / sci-fi on a budget and doesn't look too bad for it. Maggie Grace does a good job as the tidy piece along for the ride, Cousin Eli from Emmerdale is a tip-top nutter and the sleazy government types are sleazy government types. The sound's really booming on a 5.1 system. Definitely worth making it loud! And the Steelbook presentation is quite fancy.

Lockout steelbook review
Great fun movie, action packed, hilarious lines from Guy Pierce, & an homage to Carpenters "Escape from New York". Some say it's a ripoff of that film, I say homage! Great looking steelbook, great price with only 1000 copies so get one!!!

Luc Besson is definitely one of my favourite directors
Lockout is highly enjoyable G.P. is a brilliant actor but leading role hero or anti hero roles Maybe not. I repeat he is a brilliant actor see Lawless, The Kings speach, & many more the whole concept is brill,Stormare is as always excellent, he is the guy you love to hate, the Criminals are brilliant you could make a film on nearly every one of them loved the Taxi Driver LBJ nut job. I was basically rooting for him, played excellently by the way. Run along quickly passed, good action nice one for the collection. The steelbook is simplistic in design & could have been more inventive, nevertheless well worth the purchase. It will fitt nicely in my collection.

Great price - Great and very limited Steelbook - AND a GREAT movie . . .
Well my Review Title says it all. I can't believe that this great looking collectors item sells for this price, and this when limited to just 1000 copies. I love this movie. I love the Steelbook.. I highly recommend buying it! Fredrik F. G. Granlund Mariestad, Sweden.

Really enjoyed this film,I would recommend this steelbook to anyone's collection,this is the second Guy Peirce film iv seen,the other was Time Machine ,very good actor,spot on entertainment

A cross between die hard and escape from New york. Enjoyed this movie very much Guy Pierce kills it in the lead till.
