kong is king
Having owned King Kong on DVD years ago I decided to invest in the Augmented Reality Blu Ray and was blown away by the spectacle that is Peter Jacksons epic story.Watching the hefty 200 minute story unfold on full 1080p is an amazing thing to see, the clarity is outstanding and if you are thinking of getting this, go ahead! It is definitely one for your collection. A deserved 5 star. The extras are plentifull and give an insight into the making of the eighth wonder of the world.

King Kong
Loved King Kong, You know the story but its great action, especially while on the Island. Brill graphics / CGI etc... little bit of motion blur on most TV's, even LEDs but who cares when Kong is ripping the T-rex's to bits. Awesome! Excellent value for a blue ray film!

King Kong Augmented Version
Epic quality transfer to Blu-ray, with good blacks and good whites throughout. The story line holds up well, if a little slow to get going, but well worth watching. One or two amusing moments where the CGI made me smirk, but it doesn't spoil the movie. Well worth a purchase at the price Zavvi sell for!

King Kong is a great film - far better than the 1970s version! It has to be said, the 1933 black and white version is the best!

King Kong - Augmented Reality Edition is an awesome addition to any Blu-Ray collection. I always wanted this when it was first released on HD-DVD, but as I went blu-ray, and was glad that I did, I had to wait. Turns out the wait was worth it, as this version has the extended movie as well as the theatrical one, and it's worth the pennies as the extra footage is ace. It's a definate must-buy for the pric.

Great all around.
Great edition of this Blu-ray, the augmented reality cover really is quite cool and at this price it's the same (if not cheaper) than the original release. Highly recommended Blu-ray!
