Wrapping up another mind-bending season, the critically acclaimed Fringe continues to explore otherworldly cases with endless impossibilities. Set in two parallel universes, the FBI's Fringe Division focuses around Special Agent Olivia Dunham, eccentric "fringe" scientist Walter Bishop and his jack-of-all-trades son, Peter --the trio is supervised by Special Agent Phillip Broyles and assisted by Agent Astrid Farnsworth. Simultaneously, the universe "over there" is populated by alternate doppelgangers including a scheming "Walternate," seductive "Fauxlivia" and a parallel Fringe team armed with advanced high-technology. In both universes, the teams investigate unusual incidents that defy human logic and unimaginable events that threaten our very existence on a universal scale. Irrevocably linked to the "other" universe by the machinations of a younger Walter Bishop trying to save the life of his son, Olivia and alternate-born Peter must heal the rifts between two warring universes while wrestling with questions of identity and destiny ... and an unstoppable, ancient doomsday device!

Fringe season 4
Fringe - Season 4 is a great TV series gripping can't wait to get season 5. It's that good we watched it in a week.

Still going strong!
Fringe is one of those rare TV shows that loses nothing in terms of originality and character development as it moves into a 4th season. It is also rare in that it answers questions in a satisfying manner, whilst at the same time adding mystery and develping its mythos. I won't give any plot details away as I am sure that those who have watched the previous 3 seasons (and know that season 5 will be the last season of this superb TV show) won't want anything spoiled for them. For anyone who has yet to emerge themselves in this world that mixes science fiction, thriller and horror - what are you waiting for? For fans of the best years of the X-Files, Alias or Lost, this will hit all the sweet spots those shows did.

fringe season 4
I have watched and loved all previous seasons of fringe and was excited to watch season 4. Oh dear! I gave up on it after a few episodes as it was so poor and am disappointed with the lazy storylines and poor acting. I have sold all seasons of fringe as a result and wish I could have all the hours back that watching it took up!
