Zelda fans who have eagerly been awaiting the launch of The Legend of Zelda: A Link Between Worlds can also on the same day get their hands on The Legend of Zelda: A Link Between Worlds Limited Edition Nintendo 3DS XL console. With a download code for the game included with this Limited Edition hardware purchase, fans will be able to download the game directly from Nintendo eShop to begin their adventure. For any Zelda fan, the console is instantly recognisable, with the top shell and the inside of the console decked out in an iconic gold colour, and the bottom shell all black, with a Triforce logo emblazoned across each side. When the console is opened therefore, the double Triforce logo of the game is formed!
In The Legend of Zelda: A Link Between Worlds, which follows on from the story of the 1992 Super NES classic The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past, enjoy a whole new adventure in the kingdom of Hyrule where Link can now become a drawing to move along walls, allowing a new dimension when solving the fresh set of puzzles on offer. Other new aspects include greater freedom to tackle the various dungeons in the order you want, while many of the most essential items at Link’s disposal will be available early on at a shop run by the character Ravio, who’ll let you rent or buy items before embarking on your next dungeon adventure.
As a final Zelda-themed update for fans,the packaged version of The Legend of Zelda: A Link Between World's front cover will be reversible for fans to choose between displaying the nostalgic image of the cover in classic gold, or in full colour. I had this as an early Christmas pressie and it just looks gorgeous. The game is a download code (does not come as a cartridge - which I found a little disappointing). This bundle does not include a charger either, however these can be picked up for as little as 2 or 3 pound elsewhere. I would highly recommend picking up a charger BEFORE you start a game (particularly as good as Zelda: A Link Between Worlds, as you will not want to put it down!). It is worth noting that the 3DS XL has a different charger to the original DS and the DS lite, but it does have the same charger as the dsi! The bundle comes with a memory card, which is useful for storing any downloaded games! So other than the bundle not including a charger or a physical copy of the game, it is actually a really nice piece of equipment and would suggest buying it if you are a fan of Zelda or know someone else who it.

Very nice package
I'm extremely happy with my new 3DS XL, but first things first - this limited edition looks amazing! I had 3DS before, but this bronze/golden color is just perfect, and I love it. With the package you get the new Zelda: A Link Between Worlds as well, which is maybe one of the best games this year. As a bonus you can use the current Nintendo promotion for Europe getting a Nintendo Club member and after that registering both the 3DS XL and the Zelda. That way you got the awesome Mario 3D Land free of charge, which make this deal even better!

Slick, must have for fans
Delivery was very fast and robustly packaged. The product itself is really good quality with enough charge to do a functional test run of all the features. A charger is an essential extra purchase as you'll run out of power within 1-2 hours (with screen brightness at the lowest setting and in power saving mode), however after a full charge the console lasts a surprising long time! The original 3DS charger fits in this one if you are upgrading to XL. The console comes with a 4GB memory card (which can be replaced if needed) and download of the game was quite quick as well. The console looks slick and sheek, and the gold is a nice metallic shade, and isn't gaudy at all. Suitable in shade for male and females. This is more comfortable to hold for adults than the prior 3DS and is thinner, with the weight being fairly similar. The screen quality is really nice and maintains a good picture quality even with old DS games. A fantastic gift for those who are fans of the series.

Very nice finish, not as glittery or shiny as expected. The top screen is a little looser than I'd like but this is an issue with all 3DSXL's. Shame it doesn't come bundled with a charger but Zelda is very good and the console looks brilliant.
