How long have we waited for this peeps? Finally one of the best sequels ever gets a 4k release, sure it's DNR'd a tad too much but it looks great and if you have an OLED the HDR really works well on this film. Please can we have a steelbook version at some point though.

Fantastic restoration
It was a great film to begin with, so this restoration is very welcome. The film looks stunning with crisp edges and more vibrant colours - it really does look quite different. Smaller details are now impossible to miss. Definitely a worthwhile buy for any fan

Brilliant 4k transfer
This 4k transfer is superb - you get the full screen of your tv, and everything little detail you can notice. We watched the original alien 4k and I didn’t notice to much. The sound quality is also amazing in 5.1 and this is well worth every penny, the streaming 4ks have nothing on this, as they’re simply upscaled.Â

As as it ever was
And looks better than ever (online debate about the remastering technique used aside, I thought it looked fantastic). One of the great sequels and an example of the Directors Cut being the superior version.Â

I wasn't blown away
Was eager to see this after having worked through VHS, DVD, Blu Ray and digital downloads over the years, but I have to say I couldn't see a noticeable difference between this and the blu ray. I used a ps5 and a Sony 4k TV, but unlike other films, such as Bladerunner, I wasn't that impressed. This product will still get 5 stars because it's always brilliant, even with that rubbish box art

Looks great, Well worth buying, sounds great too and has the theatrical & special editions both give hours of entertainment not to miss.

Bigger, better and beautiful
Aliens is one of those rare films that maybe is better than the original. The 4k special edition is an epic fun film. The transfer and detail are great just a classic seen at its best in 4k

Aliens 4k
My favourite sci fi /action/horror film of all time. Some reviews have criticised this 4k version. For me its a no brainier. The best picture yet and in dolby atmos. Yes some scenes and sound effects aren’t as good as you would expect from a 4k copy,but 75% of it is the best ive seen of this quality film. Shame there isn’t a steelbook version. If you love aliens this is the best version(extended as well)
